Twitchy Day 8 - Dale to Marloes

Sadly we left the Gailee behind at the Manor house, as she was not up to another day of walking. I must admit spending extra time in Dale and the Manor House, complete with the estates peacocks was a very desirable option.

So the "hard cases", were down to just one case today. So after a kiss and wave we left....

Interesting day, in that we have just passed the halfway mark of our little Pembrokeshire adventure. That leaves seven days to go, with an ever increasing number of kilometres per day to come. Bonus!

Today's walk started by leaving the pretty hamlet of Dale and going around the headland, before returning to the other side of Dale. All up we had moved forward one kilometre in three hours. That is just the way it is sometimes.

The middle part of the day was a huge challenge, with strong buffeting winds knocking us from pillar to post. Not much fun, and a tad exhausting to be honest.

With a bit of perfect planning we did meet up with the Gailee at a cafe just outside Marloes, for lunchie at the 15 kilometre mark. Evidently, Bungledon had been doing a bit of solo walking???

Two hours later we arrived in Marloes, a bit tired and emotional. All up we covered 22.5 kilometres for the day.

All fun of the fair.
