Twitchy Day 2 - Tenby to Manorbier

Surprisingly today was a tad shorter than yesterday at 12.6 kilometres, when we were expecting around 16 kilometres - bonus.

The four of us set out in good spirits, after the morning showers had subsided, with a hint of sunshine. With a touch of sadness we left behind the delightful little fishing village of Tenby, our home for the last two nights.

Our first mile was a lovely stroll along the beach towards the rifle range at the end of the bay. Todays walk involved walking through a rifle range, something I believe we do a couple of times. You are only allowed to walk through the rifle range when it is closed, so we were lucky - no gunshots, no flags, so we took it as closed. 😜

Strong blustery winds buffeted us all day, in filtered sunshine - to the point we all got a bit of colour. We walked along the breathtaking coastline, across the cliff tops, with the odd cove &/or beach thrown in. Lots and lots and lots of steps.

No real dramas today, though Gailee struggled a bit with her shoulder.

All in all a bonza day ......
