Bendy Day 2 - Tenby to Manorbier

12.6km in 4:10
Lovely weather for walking not hot and a good sea breeze blowing in our faces.

Started off at good time (0905) and headed off along the Tenby South Beach. The Penally rifle range was not active today so we were able to walk along the cliff tops. Beautiful scenery and magnificent cliffs. Sheep were grazing on the cliff tops well within the boundary of the rifle range - brave.

We stopped in the small town of Lydstep for a quick break before venturing back up onto the cliff tops. There were a number of steep ravines to climb down into and then back up the other side (steps on most of them).

The path goes above the beach of Skrinkle Haven and then skirts around a military air defence range facility before returning to cliff tops. The wind was blowing at about 15 to 20 knots and in some places it made walking interesting.

We rounded headland and there it was, the beach at Manorbier and the castle. We were nearly there. A bit more beach walking then up the road past the castle to the Castlemead Hotel - our stop for the night. Our luggage was waiting for us - the plan is working so far.
