Offa's Dyke Path - ODP
Another 300 kilometre Coast 2 Coast epic, from North Wales to South Wales, loosely following the border.
After a welcome five day break, through central and Northern Wales in a big big Bus.
It was way too long and not the car we ordered or wanted. Luckily Gailee was able to orchestrate a change over, so we dumped the Mercedes today, and got a practical vehicle we could park. Wahooooo !!!!
We had a great time touring through the beautiful villages and mountains of Aberystwyth, Portmeirion, Mt Snowdon, Holyhead, Llandudno and arriving in Prestatyn early this afternoon. Lots of trains, trams and castles along the way.
Tomorrow we get back into it, but it is just Bendy and I for the final leg - the Dynamic Duo. Gailee and Libbee are happy to take on the role of support crew permanently.
Twitchy is feeling most unwell right now, so tomorrow will be a much bigger challenge that I had hoped or expected.
Fingers crossed!

Hi Geoff. Good luck for phase 2. Enjoyed first blog. As a now highly experienced first time long distance walker (previously only one Oxfam 100km) I can now relate very well to your trials and tribulations. You called it early btw, I no longer want to deck you, I want to have a beer with you! All the best.
Cheers,
Marc (Gary’s mate)
Thanks Marc - welcome to the dark side.
The Coast 2 Coast adventure is pretty special!
We will organise a beer once we get back.
